Frequently Asked Questions About Renting an Apartment or Condo
1.  Will I have to sign a lease?

Most of our landlords do require a one year lease, but there are occasional times when a six month lease will be sufficient.

2.  Do I have provide a credit report?

Yes, we will need a copy of your current credit report.  You can pull that yourself at www.freecreditreport.com and bring it along when we meet with you or you can have us pull the credit report for you at the cost of $X.XX per credit report.

3.  Can you explain any "up front" fees to me before I rent?

Yes.  We can tell you about the landlord's policy on security deposit and pet deposits (when applicable).  Each landlord determines their own pet policy.  We do not charge any tenants a fee for our services (other than the credit report mentioned above).

4.  How do I apply for an apartment or condo?

We have an application that you will need to fill out.  We can email it to you or you can stop by our office at 103 Main St in Abingdon and pick an application up.
